Development
For the creative team at New Life Church, handle the development of a brand by meeting with the pastor of the ministry hosting an event or campaign to take notes on goals for visuals and branding, and from there develop a mood board in front of them while getting feedback on which visuals they feel are most relevant. From there, the team works on photoshoots and designs for the brand that are brought to the pastor for feedback.
OVerview
For New Life Youth, I had the opportunity to do a re-brand for their ministry in preparation for one of their biggest events of the year, which is their summer camp. After launching these new graphics, this branding would be kept for the next year of content including screenslides, print marketing, signage, social media graphics, and more. This year’s branding was intended to be a little edgy and grungy, inspired by athletic wear ads from companies such as Nike and Adidas as well as branding from music artists such as Frank Ocean and Tyler, The Creator, in combination with imagery that reflected the coastal, youth-centered culture of our city.
